Winter Groups
Groups are another place for transformation within community. We believe each can be an opportunity to know Jesus as you gather together with intention and purpose this fall. We have three different kinds of Groups:
ConnectGroups are where people gather to enjoy life around a shared activity.
TeachGroups are where people gather to grow in Christ by learning together.
LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church.

IF:Table
IF you're looking to find "your people" at Life Church, then join us for a once-a-month dinner where we talk through 4 simple questions on a different topic each month designed around the question, "IF God is real, then what?" We all want to build authentic relationships and have real conversations with one another, and our prayer is that IF:Table will help start these conversations and serve women in the church. Our greatest desire is to see women know the God of the Bible and to have deep, honest conversation about how faith intersects with life.

Men’s Breakfast
Rise and shine, gentlemen! Start your day off right with the men's breakfast group. Join us every first Saturday morning of the month for a hearty breakfast, hot coffee, and engaging conversation. Vet Connect (Veterans and First Responders)
Join us for a time of connection, reflection, and camaraderie. Our Veterans Fellowship Gathering is a welcoming space for all veterans and first responders to come together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company. Using Tara Leigh Cobble's D-Group curriculum, join us in devoting ourselves daily to Bible study, accountability with prayer partners, and scripture memorization! This fall we will be studying Galatians and Ephesians, "The Freedom and Purpose of the Body of Christ." The core values of this approach to discipleship are: Scripture as roots; Community as fruit; Share your wins and losses; Walk in the Light; and Live beyond yourself. The Parable of the talents reminds us about the importance of being a good steward of money by investing it. In this group we will learn about how to manage money, invest it (retirement, stock market & digital assets) and be a blessing to others. If you've always wanted to understand money and investing, this group is for you.

While our corporate gatherings are a crucial part of discipleship, LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church, an opportunity to know and be known, and a part of Life Church you might just come to call family.
Each LifeGroup gathering will involve a few things: food around the table, intentional times of prayer, reading and applying of scripture, and plenty of space for all ages, which means childcare will be provided at each LifeGroup gathering. Our goal for Lifegroup engagement is committed and consistent life together, so we invite you to make this a priority in your schedule.
A practical note on Group locations: each one is listed based off the general area of the home where the Group is hosted. If you are new to Williamsburg or need some help identifying which would be closest for you, let us know and we can assist you.
