Summer Groups
Groups are another place for transformation within community. We believe each can be an opportunity to know Jesus as you gather together with intention and purpose this summer. We have three different kinds of Groups:
ConnectGroups are where people gather to enjoy life around a shared activity.
TeachGroups are where people gather to grow in Christ by learning together.
LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church.

Monday
Family Function
Moms and Dads of elementary school aged kids and younger are invited to come out for a walk and time of fellowship on Monday nights at 5:30pm! We'll meet in Colonial Williamsburg bi-weekly, alternating moms or dads taking the kids on a walk, while the others enjoy a time of fellowship with their fellow parents.

IF: Table
IF you're looking to find "your people" at Life Church, then join us for a once-a-month dinner where we talk through 4 simple questions on a different topic each month. We all want to build authentic relationships and have real conversations with one another, and our prayer is that IF:Table will help start these conversations and serve women in the church. Our greatest desire is to see women know the God of the Bible and to have deep, honest conversations about faith.

Veterans Fellowship
Join us for a time of connection, reflection, and camaraderie. Our Veterans Fellowship Gathering is a welcoming space for all veterans to come together, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. We'll open with a prayer, have meaningful conversations, and support one another through fellowship and friendship.

Bocce Ball on the Greens of Williamsburg
Explore the parks of Williamsburg and get some fellowship, fresh air, and a little exercise. Bring a Bocce Ball set for every 4 players, favorite drink or snack, and a portable chair.

Pickleball and Praise is where faith and fun meet! Join us for a laid-back time of pickleball games, laughter, and uplifting fellowship. Men’s Breakfast
Rise and shine, gentlemen! Start your day off right with the men's breakfast group. Join us every first Saturday morning of the month for a hearty breakfast, hot coffee, and engaging conversation. Whether you're looking to connect with fellow guys in our community or simply enjoy good food, our breakfast group is the place to be.

Fore-Given
To get together and play 18 holes of golf with others who love Christ. We will play a two-person scramble with a ball lottery to decide teams. The current plan is to meet once a month on a Saturday. After Golf, we can all grab a bite to eat and talk about the day and just spend time getting to know each other more.

Spotlight Creative Crew
Question for you: do you have skill in any of the following areas: construction, costuming, drawing, online shopping, sewing, creative writing, A/V set-up, lighting, make-up, hair, nails, acting, administration, set design, thrifting, interior design, or painting? If yes, have we got a group for you!
Spotlight is the one of the biggest events of the year for Realife, our Middle + High School Ministry. We invite fellow youth ministries and gather for a fun night of food, candy, “Spotlight” (think flashlight tag), and a bonfire. But Spotlight is more than a game. It’s an immersive experience! Every year, we have a theme and the Church building is decorated to the nines. Students come in themed costumes and even costumed adults act in character to thrill and entertain. It’s a big deal, and we need help! This group will focus on designing the building decorations/sets and actors' costumes. Even if you only have time for a phone call to give us advice in your area of knowledge, please join us in making this event one to remember for Realife and our Williamsburg students!

Human-Trafficking Awareness
This Summer, we'll be gathering Bi-weekly to learn and support one another as we learn about the injustice of Human Trafficking. Together we'll read “Girls Like Us,” by Rachel Lloyd and will spend time discussing each weeks reading, processing the weight of this injustice, and praying together.

Journaling Journeys: Knowing God
Intimacy with God gives us the ability to experience Him first hand and in order to draw near to the Lord we must know the Word and as we read it reveals His nature. So let's make it fun time where we can all get to know the all knowing God. Each week we will read a chapter from the book titled "Knowing God", which tells and uses sound based scripture about the characteristics of God. As we are all called and are able to share the beauty of His majesty, we will journal together to we process each chapter. This group has been established in order to know further and deepen our understanding of how loving and awesome He is. Bring markers, your Bible, your favorite notebook, and your copy of Knowing God!

Pull Up A Chair - In Today's busy world - we're wired to be "fine", warding off authenticity for pleasantries. Hiding in the shadows of our busyness to escape intimate friendship with the women God places in our lives. Yet we do want a seat at the table. We want authentic relationships. In this bible study, we will be encouraged to unpack what it takes to be a friend - even when it's hard or risky - by looking at the life of the ultimate friend, Jesus. CAYA - The Garden Within: Part 3
Join us as we continue working through "The Garden Within" by Dr. Anita Phillips - a book study exploring the intersection of faith and mental health. While our corporate gatherings are a crucial part of discipleship, LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church, an opportunity to know and be known, and a part of Life Church you might just come to call family.
Each LifeGroup gathering will involve a few things: food around the table, intentional times of prayer, reading and applying of scripture, and plenty of space for all ages, which means childcare will be provided at each LifeGroup gathering. Our goal for Lifegroup engagement is committed and consistent life together, so we invite you to make this a priority in your schedule.
A practical note on Group locations: each one is listed based off the general area of the home where the Group is hosted. If you are new to Williamsburg or need some help identifying which would be closest for you, let us know and we can assist you.
