Fall Groups
Groups are another place for transformation within community. We believe each can be an opportunity to know Jesus as you gather together with intention and purpose this fall. We have three different kinds of Groups:
ConnectGroups are where people gather to enjoy life around a shared activity.
TeachGroups are where people gather to grow in Christ by learning together.
LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church.

Monday
IF:Table
IF you're looking to find "your people" at Life Church, then join us for a once-a-month dinner where we talk through 4 simple questions on a different topic each month. We all want to build authentic relationships and have real conversations with one another, and our prayer is that IF:Table will help start these conversations and serve women in the church. Our greatest desire is to see women know the God of the Bible and to have deep, honest conversations about faith.

Prayer + Women
Join us each week as we open ourselves before the Lord and pray as He leads! There will be a time of coffee + fellowship and then a time of praying and seeking the Lord on behalf of our families, communities, and beyond.

Park Workouts
We will gather at a local outdoor gym to encourage one another scripturally in living healthy lives and then workout together. All fitness levels are encouraged to join. Dress for the weather, and bring water!

Breaking Bread is a sweet place for honest conversation about life, faith, and God. Together we will gather around the table to pray for and encourage one another as we grow in God's word. Men’s Breakfast
Rise and shine, gentlemen! Start your day off right with the men's breakfast group. Join us every first Saturday morning of the month for a hearty breakfast, hot coffee, and engaging conversation. Whether you're looking to connect with fellow guys in our community or simply enjoy good food, our breakfast group is the place to be.

Vet Connect (Veterans and First Responders)
Join us for a time of connection, reflection, and camaraderie. Our Veterans Fellowship Gathering is a welcoming space for all veterans and first responders to come together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company. We’ll open with prayer, have meaningful conversations, and support one another through fellowship and friendship.

Spotlight
Do you have a heart to serve our youth? Spotlight is the one of the biggest events of the year for Realife, our Middle + High School Ministry. We invite fellow youth ministries and gather for a fun night of food, candy, "Spotlight" (think flashlight tag), and a bonfire. Every year, we have a theme and the Church building is decorated to the nines. This group will build/assemble and install the decorations. No special skills are necessary - though construction, painting or sewing ability would be welcome! The design plans and materials are in place, just bring your hands and a willing heart to help us make this event one to remember for Realife and our Williamsburg students!
Note: Spotlight is on October 24th so we will only have six Sunday afternoon meetings, September 14th-October 19th.

Daring Faith
Ladies, join us in the Daring Faith by Rick Warren study and learn what it means to have a bold, unshakable faith that gives you the courage to not only impact your life but the world around you! Daring Faith is an easy, quick read that provides us with scripture based facts and tools to strengthen our faith. We'll watch a short video while we fill out the work book questions, followed by group discussions & prayer.

Bible Study for Discipleship
James 4:8 "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."
Are you looking to go deeper in your study of the Bible? This fall we will be studying the book of Colossians: "The Supremacy and Sufficiency of Christ," exploring the truths of Christ's Lordship, His sufficiency in all things, and what it means to walk in faith as a believers. By learning "The James Method," with their downloadable Colossians study, we will engage with scripture on a deeper level through "verse mapping," key word, and inductive Bible study methods.

D-Group: Galatians and Ephesians
Using Tara Leigh Cobble's D-Group curriculum, join us in devoting ourselves daily to Bible study, accountability with prayer partners, and scripture memorization! This fall we will be studying Galatians and Ephesians, "The Freedom and Purpose of the Body of Christ." The core values of this approach to discipleship are: Scripture as roots; Community as fruit; Share your wins and losses; Walk in the Light; and Live beyond yourself. Women’s Bible Study – Hebrews
Did this summer's sermons on Hebrews pique your interest in this theologically rich book of the Bible? Are you interested in studying the Word intentionally and going deeper with a smaller group? Join us in studying Hebrews this fall, using Jen Wilkin's "Better" study. Whether you are seasoned at studying the Word or have never studied the Bible before, this group is for you!
A copy of “Better - a 10 week study of Hebrews” by Jen Wilkin will be provided by the Church for anyone joining this study. This is a structured bible study that has (a manageable amount of) weekly homework, teaching videos, and discussion questions.

While our corporate gatherings are a crucial part of discipleship, LifeGroups offer a more intimate way for people to grow deeper in relationships, allowing God to do a transforming work in their lives. Within these communities you will discover the pastoral presence of the church, an opportunity to know and be known, and a part of Life Church you might just come to call family.
Each LifeGroup gathering will involve a few things: food around the table, intentional times of prayer, reading and applying of scripture, and plenty of space for all ages, which means childcare will be provided at each LifeGroup gathering. Our goal for Lifegroup engagement is committed and consistent life together, so we invite you to make this a priority in your schedule.
A practical note on Group locations: each one is listed based off the general area of the home where the Group is hosted. If you are new to Williamsburg or need some help identifying which would be closest for you, let us know and we can assist you.
